iDIG delivered a range of civil construction works on the Greens Road/Cranbourne line upgrade. The package of works totalled $2 million, and the work was carried out over a scheduled seven-day road closure. 

We provided workforce cover for 24 hours a day to meet the tight timeframe. The road opened to the public on time, with all works delivered to the highest standard.

Scope of works:

• Asphalt – 3,000m2 of resurfacing

• Full-depth pavement (including placement of CTCR – 250m2)

• Concrete pavement placement (750m2 including barrier infill and traffic island infill)

• Pre-cast and in situ-barrier installation – 135m

• Installation of 1km of subsoil drainage

• Installation of various road signage

• Management of road furniture sub-contractor, installing 170LM of guardrail

• Management of line-marking sub-contractor installing 1km of line marking

• Management of electrical sub-contractor installing eight light poles

• Management of kerb sub-contractor installing 630 LM

• Installation of 1km of shared user path including handrail, line marking and street lighting
